The best way to experience Ambleside is to come for a visit.
On your visit you will have the opportunity to join in some of our school weekly rhythms, as well as sit in on several classrooms. You will be able to experience the Wednesday morning chapel with our community, meet some of our staff and observe in the classroom experience. We look forward to introducing you to our community.

*Note: Application to Ambleside for Grade 6 through 8 will be evaluated on a strict case by case basis due to the level of academic rigor and importance of submission to the philosophy. Student must be enrolled by the Fall Semester of 8th Grade (no mid-year enrollment for 8th Grade). In order to attend Ambleside High School (grades 9-12), the student must be enrolled by Fall Semester of 8th grade.

Directions to Campus

We are located in the beautiful, 19th century sacred space known as Newberg Friends Church. This space, which was built at the same time when Charlotte Mason was at the peak of her teaching career, is an inspiring location that creates the ideal environment for the type of life-giving education that Ambleside seeks to provide for its students.

Every morning, students gather in the sanctuary for assembly where they commit their heads, their hearts, and their hands to God. On Wednesday mornings, students gather for their weekly chapel. This includes singing hymns, listening to a chapel speaker, and doing recitations. Family members are welcome to join chapel each week.
